Full-Service Installations
In this time of medical specialization, isn’t it great to find a doctor who looks at you holistically, someone who considers the total you? It’s like finding that great mechanic who can fix anything on your car and keep it running like new. Well that’s the theory behind NexAir’s AIR program and overall approach to serving you.
AIR is our Aircraft Integration and Reengineering program: more information on NexAir’s “Air” program, click here. It basically means we look at every aspect of your airplane – including you, how you fly, where you fly, your experience, your future plans – whenever we get a chance to work on it.
We don’t want to just fix or install things for you. A lot of people can do that. What sets NexAir Avionics apart from everyone else is the way we consider all of the hardware and systems in the plane and how they interact with one another… and the pilot.
What’s most important to you? Shouldn’t that be the easiest to access and use? It not only needs to be the right component but in just the right place in the panel. And it needs to function really well with the other components in the plane.
To do that effectively and efficiently (you don’t want to be redoing things every few years, do you!?) takes a comprehensive understanding of how systems work, how airplanes operate and how you fly. You might have your heart set on a certain installation. After a long heart-to-heart conversation with you, (be prepared to hear some compelling logic as to why), in the long term something else might be a much smarter decision for you because of the way you fly and because of the way these components function with one another.
We can do that because we’re engineers who really “get digital.” We really understand how those heavy, complicated and expensive boxes work the way they do. So much so that we often get phone calls from the manufacturers themselves asking for work-around advice and recommendations.
But it’s also because, first and foremost, we’re pilots who love to fly. From preflight to touchdown and everything in between is why we get out of bed in the morning and come to work (well, that and a good cup of strong coffee). So while we “get digital” we also “get pilots” and what they need.
Don’t know where everything will fit? We won’t look at your panel like it’s a puzzle with limitations. We’ll design and install a new custom panel for you in order to get you the best possible solution. Want to see better on the inside or be seen better by other planes? Then an entirely new look for your lighting system is in order. Need to upgrade the electrical from 12V to 24? Then that’s just what we’ll do. Some of your antennas not “playing well with others?” We’ll show you how to get the most out of all of them. Including a few you might not really need.
We don’t look at your plane as a problem that needs to be fixed. Rather, it’s a platform for series of systems that, when fully and properly integrated and working together optimally, will result in a smarter, better-than-new plane. And a smarter pilot – you.
We call that future-fitting an airplane. It’s the shortest distance between where you are and where you want to be.
So if flying is in your future, make it as enjoyable as possible by stopping in or calling us to talk about our AIR program. There will be zero pressure. We’re engineers and pilots, not salesmen.
