The owner of this 2001 Cirrus SR-22 wanted to update their entire center stack (gps/nav/comm, audio panel, transponder), and become ADS-B compliant with Avidyne’s MLB100 while taking advantage of Avidyne’s 2015 M13 Avi-bucks special event rebate program.
Results
The original panel of this 2004 SR-22 came equipped with a typical cirrus stack containing dual Garmin GNS430′s (non-WAAS), Garmin GTX327 Transponder, and a Garmin GMA 340 audio panel.
The new installation is a complete center stack renovation including the new Avidyne’s IFD540 and IFD440 gps/nav/comms, PS Engineering’s PMA-450 audio panel with USB port, Avidyne’s AXP322 transponder, and Avidyne’s MLB100. What you don’t see in the photos are the remotely mounted AXP322 transponder, and remotely mounted MLB100 ADS-B unit.
All meticulously and seamlessly organized for an ergonomic pilot work flow and neat appearance. Be assured, behind the panel is bundled just as tidy and orderly.
